Commercial Analyst - Essendon Fields
The Resources and Industrial team is currently seeking a Commercial Analyst based in Essendon Fields, VIC. The role will be working with new and existing customers to help support development and growth, including the management of the commercial and financial aspects.
Reporting to the General Manager - Petrochemicals & Industrial, the Commercial Analyst is responsible for:
Demonstrate effective performance in achieving Linfox's safety goals, in line with annual safety plans and/or real time changes in safety performance.
Ensure compliance with safety obligations under Linfox policies, procedures, customer requirements and legislative obligations.
Manage the commercial governance of the existing and new contracts to ensure compliance with Linfox commercial policies and plans.
A demonstrate understanding of weekly KPR results for all cost centres and an ability to provide a weekly analysis to the General Manager - Petrochemicals & Industrial and construct and implement any necessary corrective action plans.
Review the day to day execution of the existing customer contracts to ensure that all efficiencies are gained to ensure maximum return for Linfox and its clients.
Provide market research and input for the strategic plan for the industry or customer sector.
Provide analysis of reported data to assist senior management in understanding Business performance.
Ability to manage customer relationships to senior levels including leading commercial discussions and negotiations.
To deliver cost effective, productive outcomes.
Maintain regular positive relationships with all existing major customers that you have specific ownership for as part of the Operations team across Asia Pacific.

The successful candidate will possess:
Direct experience and responsibility for a profit and loss business and all the financial requirements of that business.
Experience in management or supervisor of staff.
Infrastructure or equipment management experience.
Direct customer service experience.
Experience of the transport & logistics industry.
Direct experience and a sound record of achievement with workplace disciplinary process, workplace diversity and positive workplace culture and first level practical industrial relations.
Proven analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
The following, while not essential, will be highly regarded:
Tertiary qualifications in business, Accounting or Finance.
Experience in the resources logistics industry.
SAP experience and Microsoft office suite.
